MyURemote Privacy Policy

We take things seriously.

MyURemote knows how important your information is and knows you care about how it is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This document describes our privacy policy. By using MyURemote apps or websites, including this app or website, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Statement.

We’re committed to privacy.
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We do not share any information outside of MyURemote.
Note that we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies for web sites to which we may link.

Here’s the information we collect.
We may collect information submitted by you for the purposes of purchasing MyURemote products, registering to use our support forums, or purchasing products in our Store.
Note that no information whatsoever on purchases made on the App Store from Apple is provided to us beyond the name of your Country. We are not provided and do not retain any information or have any control whatsoever over App Store information, Apple IDs, or purchases made there. We receive only statistical information regarding the number of purchases in a given country and no information on the actual purchasers. This also applies to any in-app purchase made within the MyURemote application.
For account management purposes, we require your name and e-mail address as well as a password. In the case of a purchase from the MyURemote Store, we collect your address and we do not store any of your credit card or bank account information, but transmit it securely and immediately to a payment service (Shopify or PayPal) for the purpose of completing the transaction. We keep records of your purchase for the purpose of receipt and licensing information (without any credit card or bank information).
Our web servers collect information via the industry-standard Google Analytics tool that identifies your IP address, browser type, operating system, and other non-personal information in the form of anonymous web logs to help with site maintenance and improvements. This data is viewed as anonymous statistics to show the busiest times of the day or week, pages with errors and how effective our advertising has been. This information is not used for any other purpose and the information cannot be accessed by any other party.
User configurations on our servers are always transmitted and stored in an encrypted form. If you would like your account purged from our systems, you may contact support.

This is how we use cookies.
Cookies are used to provide additional features as well as to help us improve the web site and user experience. For example, the forum software uses cookies to track when you last visited to provide additional features such as displaying new messages since your last visit, as well as the ability to keep you logged in, if desired. We also use Google Analytics to see how our sites are being used. No personal information is provided to Google; instead usage statistics are collected to see how our sites are used and to gain insight on how we can improve them.

This is what you should know about using our site.
If you choose to use MyURemote apps or websites, your usage and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Statement. If you have any concern about privacy of MyURemote sites or products, please contact us.
Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Statement and the Terms and Conditions of Use will change also. Our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. This document was last updated November 18, 2018 in observance of the EU GDPR.
