\nThe MyURemote Configuration Panel is where you build and manage your complete control setup.\nBefore starting configuration on a computer, it is recommended to first run the MyURemote app\non a tablet or smartphone<\/strong> for a few minutes so the system can discover devices on your network.\n<\/p>\n<\/header>\n\n

1. Start with device discovery (recommended)<\/h2>\n\n

\nWhen the MyURemote app runs on iOS or Android, it automatically performs a\nnetwork discovery process<\/strong>.\nThis discovery scans your local network and detects devices that can potentially be controlled.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nThe system uses technologies such as DLNA discovery<\/strong> and other network identification methods.\nEven devices that are not directly recognized can often still be matched with compatible control profiles\nfrom the MyURemote device database.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nDuring discovery, the app will show possible devices found on your network.\nYou can simply select the ones you want to use and they will automatically be prepared\ninside your configuration environment.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n

2. Automatic detection of controllers<\/h2>\n\n

\nNetwork controllers such as Global Cach\u00e9 devices<\/strong> are detected automatically.\nOnce discovered, they immediately become available inside the configuration panel\nfor controlling IR or serial devices.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nThis makes it very easy to start from scratch without having to manually configure\nnetwork controllers or connection details.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n

3. Discovery takes about two minutes<\/h2>\n\n

\nThe discovery process typically takes around two minutes<\/strong>.\nDuring this time the app scans the network and queries the device database\nto determine which control profiles may apply to the detected hardware.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nOnce the scan is complete and you have selected the devices you want to use,\nthose devices become immediately available in the configuration system.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n

4. Continue configuration on your computer<\/h2>\n\n

\nAfter discovery, many users prefer to continue configuration on a\ncomputer<\/strong> because the larger screen makes it easier to\ncreate zones, inputs and macros.\n<\/p>\n\n

5. Synchronizing changes to your tablet or phone<\/h2>\n\n

\nAll configuration changes are stored online.\nWhenever you modify your configuration in the web interface and save it,\nthe updated configuration can immediately be loaded in the mobile app.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nSimply press the refresh button<\/strong> at the bottom of the MyURemote interface\non your tablet or smartphone. The app will reload the full configuration and apply the changes instantly.\n<\/p>\n\n
