Quickstart – From zero to remote in minutes
This guide shows the fastest way to get MyURemote working. Watch the short video, follow the steps, and you’re done.
What MyURemote actually does
- Controls your devices directly over your local network (IP or IR)

- Automatically builds a smart remote interface based on your setup
1. Create your account
Create a MyURemote account and log in to the configuration panel. Your setup is stored online and loaded automatically.
2. Open the configuration panel
The MyURemote configuration panel works on PC, tablet and smartphone.

3. Add your devices
Add the devices you want to control:
- TV, amplifier, projector
- Streamers and set-top boxes
- IP devices or IR-controlled devices
Devices can be discovered automatically or added manually.
4. Create a zone
A zone represents a room (living room, home cinema, bedroom).
Select a main device (usually your TV or amplifier). This device controls volume and input switching.
5. Add at least one input
Inputs connect devices to your zone (HDMI, TV, streamer…).
Without at least one input, no remote interface can be generated.
This ensures MyURemote always knows which device is active.
